On Friday 22nd May 2026, I saw 1001 and 1013 arrive and depart Edinburgh Waverley with some tones, whistles, and waves alike with the great sound of thumper thrash and more. On Saturday 23rd May 2026, I saw 1001 and 1013 again this time speeding along Pass of Drumochter and departing Inverness on a glorious afternoon. On Sunday 24th May 2026, I saw them yet again this time at Haymarket going back down to Tonbridge after quite the magnificent and history making weekend.
