Lakes MTB - Chapel House 'Sweet Jankyness'

Only had a few hours spare today and with the weather being pretty dull, decided to give this another go after a couple of years since I was last here. Two years ago (and time flies) was when the trees were felled on the hillside and the bottom half of the trails were covered with branches so let's see what we get today Have to say that for mid February, the trails conditions were sound with some mud kicking around but we are very much still in winter I would like to come back with a riding buddy because I think I could do some of the features with some encouragement. I've never seen the almost vertical cliff face get ridden on the first trail off the high point although I'm sure most people do it with it being part of the main trail I like to traverse along the hillside to get the most our of the day rather than rinse and repeat and had a bit of an explore to check out if any of the Gummers descents had been rebuilt but unfortunately they hadn't All in all a pretty sweet day and although windy hit the spot and served a purpose 👌
