Lakes MTB - Coniston Old Man 'Putting the Mountain into Mountain Biking'

What a belter of a day to be in the lakes riding mountain bikes after the last few months of proper sh!t, it feels like winter has gone on forever and seems it ain't finished with us yet but lighter nights are just around the corner which can only mean one thing 🚵‍♂️ This is a ride I've done a few times before, all of which were prior to the GoPro days. Did a similar ride 6 months ago which took us over to Swirl How and you will find this on the channel if it is of interest. I wanted an alternate descent off the tops so here it is, off the front of Coniston Old Man. People will likely say I'm a little retarded due to how busy it gets but I find people in the main will move out of the way when they hear the bike. If you want a clearer run, obviously a week day would be a better option If you stick this out to the end there are some cracking views on a rare of recent times sunny day. This is a long edit and realise it is not for everyone but this is as much for my enjoyment as other peoples and this reflects a big mountain day in the lakes. My fitness seems to be coming back after a month off the bike due to an extended holiday. This is my third ride since with the first two being absolute killers 🥵
