Custom Building Algoma Central Pulpwood Cars using Tichy 40' Flat Cars and 3D printed parts HO Scale
I decided to build more of my HO Scale Algoma Central Railway 40 foot bulkhead flat cars - this time using Tichy 40' flat car kits at the suggestion from a viewer of my video from last January. The prototype cars were a custom build by the ACR shops, so no commercially made model is available. I designed the bulkheads in Blender, estimating dimensions from photos I found online. The bulkheads were printed on an Elegoo Neptune 4 filament printer. I also created lettering by printing on clear decal paper with my laser printer. I cover the full build in detail, explaining the types of glues that I use, and how I do the lettering. #modelrailroad #modeltrains
