Team Work
Early autumn in Brisbane, but the heat is still hanging on. The days are getting shorter—and it’s time to start preparing for the race season ahead. The team is through their PMV vaccinations, the flights have regrown, and while they haven’t been flying, they’ve been out daily—hens and cocks separated, keeping active. They’ve been on full feed with a higher protein mix, and the moult is just about finished. I have increased the number of long-distance birds in the team for those difficult second-day races this year. Now it’s all about planning and teamwork. We’re gearing up for a long season—24 races from late May to October—flying the South West route from 180km out to 1040km. The goal: build fitness, give the yearlings experience, and have a strong team ready each week. For now, they’re taking it easy… but not for much longer. Let me know how your birds are coming along. #RacingPigeons #PigeonRacing #TeamWork #PreSeason Follow on Facebook: / 481648579826080 To enjoy more of my racing pigeon videos, go to my channel @TyberryLoftsLenVanderlinde
