Return to 3 Mile Lake Post Hurricane Fiona- Part One
Hurricane Fiona hit Nova Scotia pretty hard, but fortunately our route to Three Mile lake wasn't completely demolished. More fortunately, other kind outdoor-folks had done most of the trail clearing before we went in. This was another great 3 day trip (its too much effort to get in and out for one night). For anyone new to the channel, welcome!! This is a typical canoe/portage/camping trip for me where no one looses weight. I had not been to Three Mile lake since Halloween two years ago and so Johnny and I felt it was time to go back. This trip came together fairly fast and with only 2 of us going, our meals had to be slightly less elaborate. I also worked the night before and only got about 4 hours sleep. Part one of two and covers day one and up to lunch on day 2. Hope you all enjoy it. I will start work on editing the second half soon.
