第二京阪道路【門真→鴨川東】京都の観光地に行くならこの道路！【E89/上り/全区間】

It's extremely difficult to get to downtown Kyoto via expressways. While the existing Meishin Expressway's Kyoto Minami IC provides access to National Route 1, to reach Kyoto's famous tourist spots (such as Shijo Kawaramachi and Kyoto Station), you have to use local roads, turn at numerous intersections, and get stuck in traffic jams. If your goal is to visit these tourist spots, the closest exits are the Second Keihan Expressway: ・Kamitoba IC (heading north on Shin-Horikawa-dori (officially Abura-no-koji-dori) to Kyoto Station and Nijo Castle) ・Kamogawa-nishi IC (heading north on Kawaramachi-dori to Shijo Kawaramachi and Gion). Since the Second Keihan Expressway was built, it's become a little easier to get to Kyoto's tourist spots from Osaka.
