Easy Sourdough Banana Bread Made with Sourdough discard| so tasty & moist| Bake With Me

Here’s a great recipe for sourdough banana bread made with sourdough discard. This homemade sourdough discard banana bread is moist, and full of flavour. It’s made with ripe bananas and sourdough starter or discard. I’ve tried lots of banana bread recipes, but this one is honestly the best and It’s a great way to use up extra starter. Recipe: Ripe Bananas: 290 g | 10.2 oz | about 1 ¼ cups mashed Brown sugar: 175 g | 6.2 oz | ¾ cup packed Sourdough starter/discard: 100 g | 3.5 oz | ½ cup Eggs: 2 large Butter (melted, cooled): 100 g | 3.5 oz | ½ cup Milk: 80 g | 2.8 oz | ⅓ cup Salt: a pinch Cinnamon: ½ tsp Vanilla: ½ tsp Baking powder: 5 g | 0.17 oz | 1 tsp Chocolate chips: 75 g | 2.6 oz | ½ cup All-purpose flour: 240 g | 8.5 oz | 2 cups Note: If the batter feels too tick, just add a tbsp or two of milk. Bake for 1 hour at 190°C (375°F) in a preheated oven. If the top browns too quickly, cover it loosely with foil. Stick a toothpick in the bread, if it doesn’t come out clean, give it 10 more minutes.
