🍅 Tomato season is finally here! Summer is the best time to enjoy tomatoes — they’re sweet, juicy, and full of flavor. That’s why I decided to dedicate an entire episode to this incredible ingredient and prepare four completely different dishes where tomatoes take center stage. In this video we’ll make: 🇹🇷 Turkish Tomato Soup (Domates Çorbası) with roasted tomatoes and melted kaşar cheese. 🇬🇷 Greek Domatokeftedes served with a creamy yogurt sauce. 🇫🇷 French Tomato Tarte Tatin with burrata and fragrant basil oil. 🇮🇹 And we’ll finish with a simple Italian salad made with a juicy pink tomato, creamy burrata, and vibrant basil oil. I hope this video inspires you to cook more seasonal vegetables and discover just how versatile tomatoes can be. ⸻ 🍅 Greek Domatokeftedes Recipe Ingredients: 500 g ripe tomatoes 1 small onion 2 garlic cloves 120–150 g all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 2 tbsp chopped fresh mint 2 tbsp chopped parsley 1 tsp dried oregano Salt & black pepper Oil for frying For the sauce: Thick Greek yogurt Crumbled feta Garlic Lemon juice Fresh mint Olive oil Instructions: Grate the tomatoes and drain off some of the excess liquid. Mix with the onion, garlic and herbs. Add the flour and baking powder until you get a thick batter. Fry spoonfuls in hot oil for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
