Timmy Mallet "Way To Go" filmed at the Seafront Southend-on-Sea, Essex. GMTV Mid 1990s

This video, a transfer from an old VHS, is one of Timmy Mallet's Way To Go segments that were shown as part of of the Children's morning programming on GMTV during one summer in the mid 1990s. Each of the Way To Go segments would take a look at some of the exciting places to visit with your family during the school holidays. This particular video saw Timmy visit the Seafront at Southend-on-Sea in Essex, England. This video features footage of a classic mini/ crazy golf, some ride on children's motor bikes and cars, some of the scenes from Never Never Land and a running joke with a long panning shot of Southend Pier (the longest pleasure pier in the world). Other Way To Go segments, which were sponsored by Carex for Kids, included Warwick Castle, Coral Reef Water Park, Southend Sea Life Centre and Peter Pan's Adventure Island in Southend (now Adventure Island).
