Timmy Mallet "Way To Go" filmed at Coral Reef, Bracknell. GMTV Mid 1990s

This video, a transfer from an old VHS, is one of Timmy Mallet's Way To Go segments that were shown as part of of the Children's morning programming on GMTV during one summer in the mid 1990s. Each of the Way To Go segments would take a look at some of the exciting places to visit with your family during the school holidays. This particular video saw Timmy visit Coral Reef Waterworld in Bracknell, Berkshire, England. Coral Reef is an indoor water park with its very own Pirate Ship at its centre, it originally opened in 1989. In 2017 the water park reopened after an extensive £13m refurbishment which saw the addition of 5 brand new state of the art water slides. This video shows Coral Reef in all its 90s glory. Other Way To Go segments, which were sponsored by Carex for Kids, included Warwick Castle, a Sealife Centre and Peter Pan's Adventure Island in Southend (now Adventure Island).
