186- Mai Chau Vietnam | Homestays + les villages Ban Lac et Pom Coong

In this vlog, discover with me Mai Chau in Vietnam We will look for a homestay together (an accommodation with the locals) And then, we will explore the superb landscapes to the village Ban Lac Then we will go to the small village Pop Coong MAI CHAU: I arrived in Mai Chau by taxi from Pu Luong which is only 80 kilometers away You can also come easily from Hanoi, because there are only 135 kilometers separating them. This city, which is located in the heart of the mountainous region of Hoa Binh province, is more touristy than Pu Luong HOMESTAYS: Here, tourists are used to staying in Homestays, that is to say, accommodation with locals (that's what I did) Quite honestly, there are few differences with a classic hotel, because these Homestays try to adopt the standards and rules of classic hotels, so there are the notions of Check-in and check-out, wifi, staff, breakfast, etc. What is different, however, is the room, which is either a dormitory or individual with just a mattress on the floor and a mosquito net And especially its price, I paid about €5 per night and €2.50 for breakfast. The atmosphere is superb, because generally, it is in houses all made of wood on stilts BẢN LÁC: The main village here is called Bản Lác, it is located near a lake, moreover its name means in Vietnamese: the village of the lake The streets are littered with shops for tourists, which takes away all the charm it could have, it's a shame! I don't recommend sleeping there On the other hand, less than 10 to 15 minutes walk all around there are a lot of accommodations (hotels and Homestays) more peaceful and surrounded by nature POM COONG: On the other hand, don't hesitate to walk around the outskirts of Bản Lác there are a lot of small paths and in particular one that leads to the small village of Pom Coong, there are only 4 or 5 streets, but the atmosphere is peaceful and there are especially fewer tourists BRICE'S VLOG: https://worldwildbrice.net/category/v...
