187- Mai Chau Vietnam | Balade à vélo, les villages + cascades Gò Lào
In this vlog, we continue the discovery of Mai Chau in Vietnam We are going to do a great bike ride through superb landscapes and small typical villages Then, we will make a last stop at the Gò Lào waterfalls HIKING TO THE GÒ LÀO WATERFALLS Here all around Bản Lác everything is relatively flat, so you can easily ride a bike, moreover almost all the establishments offer them for rent (I paid €1.90 for the day) I asked 3 different people what there was to do or see in the region and all told me that you just had to walk around the hotels here… (unlike Pu Luong where there are villages, markets, mills, waterfalls… etc.) So I took my bike towards the Gò Lào Waterfall, which is 15 minutes away by car or 3 hours of walking or 1h30 by bike from Bản Lác I crossed beautiful rice fields and fields of crops with very beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. I made a first stop in the village of Xóm Chiềng Sại where there was a small market My second stop was in a village or rather a very charming hamlet with a bunch of wooden houses on stilts, I think its name is "Tòng Đậu" Then, I took the same road as the cars for a short distance Then, I left the 2-lane road to take a smaller path that goes into nature Moreover, this road goes down quite a bit, so I decided to leave my bike at the first houses, because I could not see myself going back up this slope. I advise you to do the same, it will allow you to better appreciate the landscape and the views of the valley, the rice fields, the mountains or even to take some footbridges since there is a river right next door. And maybe you will be lucky, like me, that someone offers to take you on the back of his scooter Once dropped off in front I went down a long staircase, I was amazed when I arrived in front These waterfalls are impressive The road was tiring but I am happy with the show The bravest or those who have a car will surely be able to go around Hoa Binh Lake which is not very far [Journey made only on foot and by public transport] [I speak live on site] - - - - - - - - - - - SUMMARY: 00:00 - Introduction 00:22 - Departure from Ban Lac village 02:17 - Xóm Chiềng Sại village 03:20 - Continuation of the hike 06:31 - Tòng Đậu village 06:42 - From weavers 08:52 - Visit the village on foot 10:05 - Continuation of the bike ride 10:39 - Lunch break 10:56 - Preparing a soup 12:00 - I'm back on the road 12:39 - I continue on foot 13:50 - I take a scooter 14:36 - Arrival at the Gò Lào waterfalls 16:07 - Review and conclusion on Mai Chau 17:06 - On the way back 17:45 - Excerpts from the next vlog - - - - - - - - - - - CREDITS: 🎵→ Music and video effects: Envato Elements (€14.50/month) here: https://1.envato.market/Ea9Bkn → Filmed with a DJI Osmo Pocket camera available here: https://amzn.to/36xRSj5 or here: https://amzn.to/3hzdQIF - - - - - - - - - - - FOLLOW ME AND SUPPORT ME: ▶ To subscribe to my Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/JeremieBald... ▶ My Instagram: / jeremie.voyages ▶ My blog: https://www.jeremiebaldocchiblog.com ★ If you like my channel, don't hesitate to support me here: https://fr.tipeee.com/jeremie-baldocchi
