The saint demonstrates that the danger of schism lies not only in disagreements between people, but above all in the destruction of the unity of the Church, which the Holy Fathers call the main obstacle to the enemy's actions. Drawing on the commentaries of Saints John Chrysostom, Theophan the Recluse, and Saints Augustine and Theophylact of Bulgaria, the bishop explains why truth is not determined by the opinion of the majority and why fine words, personal interpretations, and new teachings can captivate even sincere and trusting people. The only foundation of Church unity remains the apostolic tradition, dogmas, canons, and the conciliar mind of the Church. Particular attention is given to how a Christian should relate to those who deliberately sow discord and division. The apostle calls not for heated debate, but for spiritual wisdom, peace, and distance from those who deliberately destroy church unity. The sermon reminds us that victory over evil is achieved not by human strength, but by God, when believers remain faithful to Christ, His Church, and unity in truth.
