The danger of setting the wrong QNH | Blunder Error Demonstration by a Real 737 Captain

In this video we’ll be recreating what happened to the Airhub Airbus A320 on the 23rd May 2022 in Paris Charles De Gaulle, an incident where the aircraft flew within 6ft of the ground 1nm before the threshold and nearly resulted in CFIT (controlled flight into terrain). We’ll be flying the exact same approach in the exact same weather conditions and show how something as simple as setting the wrong QNH can has disastrous consequences and how me mitigate against this threat in the 737.
