Day 13: Floor Underlayment, Reflective Insulation & Cabinet Reinforcement

Day 13 of the 411 Kitchen Design Mobile Showroom conversion was focused on the floor, insulation, wall preparation, and reinforcing the areas where the cabinetry will be installed. In this video, I explain how I am placing a plastic and rubber underlayment underneath the finished floor. This layer is being added to help reduce squeaking, movement, and the bouncy feeling that can happen inside a van. The goal is to create a stronger, quieter, and more comfortable floor before the cabinets and displays are installed. I also worked on installing reflective insulation in different areas of the van to help control heat and protect the interior of the mobile showroom. Another important part of the day was preparing the back wall where the cabinetry will be installed and reinforcing the structure underneath the base and wall cabinets. Every wall, support, and layer has to be planned carefully because the cabinets, samples, hardware, and displays need a strong foundation while the van is moving. Keep following the journey and subscribe to see the complete transformation of the 411 Kitchen Design Mobile Showroom. #411KitchenDesign #MobileKitchenShowroom #KitchenShowroom #KitchenCabinets #KitchenDesign #WhiteShakerCabinets #SlimShaker #ModernCabinets #EuropeanCabinets #FlatPanelCabinets #RealWoodCabinets #VanConversion #VanFlooring #FloorUnderlayment #ReflectiveInsulation #CabinetReinforcement #ShowroomOnWheels #FordTransitBuild #SouthFloridaKitchens #PalmBeachKitchens
