I Thought A Trouser Block Would Solve My Fitting Problems... 😅

I genuinely thought making my own trouser block would solve all my fitting problems. After all, it was drafted using my own measurements. So surely it should fit... Right? Not quite! What I discovered is that fitting trousers involves way more than just your measurements: body shape, posture, fabric and even the way you stand can completely change how a garment behaves. I also discovered that chasing the "perfect" fit can become a project in itself. After 11 toiles, countless fitting sessions and plenty of help from my teacher and other sewists, I realised that perfection actually wasn't the goal: understanding my body was.
