STIHL Bogging Down and Honda GX160 Won’t Stay Running | Commercial Equipment Down

Commercial equipment down means money lost — so today we’re getting two machines back in service. #1 Billy Goat (Honda GX160): It would start and wouldn’t stay running. The carb was stopped slam up — the main jet and emulsion tube were badly clogged. I show the full tear-down and cleaning process (including torch tip cleaner work), install a new fuel line, and show how to check the fuel filter inside the fuel tank. After cleaning and reassembly, the GX160 runs like it should. #2 STIHL power broom: This one had fuel system issues — the diaphragm/fuel pump was brittle and failing, and a fuel line nipple broke off the carb. I install a replacement carb (FS56-style), swap the choke parts to make it work correctly, replace fuel lines and fuel filter, tune it up, and get it running right. I did not have the correct air filter on hand, so I ordered one and mentioned I’ll do final adjustment once the new air filter is installed. We also had some awesome visitors stop by the shop — Tim and Marta from Simpsonville, plus Michael, Kelly, and Henry. Thanks for coming to see us!
