Can We Bring This Forgotten Husqvarna Zero-Turn Back to Life?
This forgotten Husqvarna MZ6125 zero-turn has been sitting for years, and it showed up here at Raley’s Small Engines in rough shape. The battery was stone dead, the gas was rotten, the air filter was falling apart, the bottom of the seat was rusty, and the seat safety switch had even fallen out. In this video, we go at it the Raley’s Small Engines way — one step at a time, Simple Things First. I install a new Interstate battery, check to see if the Kohler V-Twin will fire on a little 50:1 fuel, drain the nasty old gas, remove and clean the carburetor, free up the stuck anti-backfire solenoid, install a new fuel filter, and then find out if this old Husqvarna will actually run and drive again. The big question is: can we bring this forgotten zero-turn back to life? This mower still needs more work, including an oil change, a new air filter, and the customer will have to decide what they want to do about the rusty seat and safety switch situation. But for something that had been sitting this long, it definitely surprised me. PINNED COMMENT: This old Husqvarna MZ6125 had been sitting for years with rotten gas, a dead battery, a nasty air filter, and even a seat safety switch hanging loose… but it surprised me. Would you replace that rusty seat, or try to save it? Check out my Amazon Store here https://www.amazon.com/shop/raleyssma... As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
