SAITO SPARK
I really like converting methanol engines to spark ignition and petrol fuel as it is an interesting workshop exercise and the results are always very pleasing. The engines run so much smoother, the idle is very slow and reliable plus, if it concerns you where you live, the cost of the fuel is not of any consequence as the petrol is much less costly than methanol and the consumption is dropped by around 2.5 that of a methanol engine. The simple way for most modellers is the Morris Mini Motor conversions - these are of very high quality and represent good value.
