SAITO FG19 R3 TEST
At this stage, August 2015, this is the latest offering and the smallest petrol radial from the Saito company. At 20 cc it is a very popular size for many medium aircraft and it is capable of swinging a good range of propellers. e.g. on test I used from 13/9 to 15/6 and, as an example of the output, I recorded 10,990 RPM with an APC 14 x 4 propeller. I used 15:1 fuel with Coolpower Blue oil and 95 RON petrol. A very sweet running engine and a few surprises such as - two rings per piston. Definitely one to add to the 'Wish List' or, better still, the 'Must Have' list.
