CGQ Flashback Ep. 20 - Radio Shack
Hey, it's the 20th episode of Flashback! Whoever thought we would make it this far? On this episode, after the usual mail segment, let's wax nostalgic about America's Technology Store. Next to Toys R Us and Kay-Bee, this was probably my favorite store of the 80s. At the end, we give a couple of old Radio Shack catalogs a quick flick-through. Dwayne was actually a really cool guy. I feel like I made it seem like he was just a lazy stoner, but that's not the case. I'm going to have a few more Radio shack stories on the next Flashback episode, and I'll talk a little bit more about Dwayne. This doesn't have anything to do with anything, but I was really happy with how the lighting turned out on this one. I used the window as a key light, but used a couple of LED panels set to daylight temp as fill lights, and I really think it looks great. Sorry for not wearing a nice shirt. It's cold in my house, and the shirt I am wearing is warm. Big thanks to everyone who sent stuff in to the show!
