I think that most people you ask would say that either Capcom or Konami was the "best" third-party developer on the NES, and while I don't think there's a right or wrong choice, I personally prefer Konami. I think that it was the most important third-party developer in the first half of the NES' lifespan, and by the time the 80's had turned into the 90's, I had moved on to primarily playing computer games. I've been meaning to make this video for a while, but I didn't realize how much of a while until I saw the dates on the gameplay footage files.
