A Good Bird Turn Out for a Rainy Week
Mother Nature has been making up for our recent drought by dumping rain on us all week long. Rainy conditions meant I only got in two afternoons of filming, but the birds still managed to put on a good show. Birds that showed up for this week's video include Carolina Chickadee, Yellow-throated Warbler, Northern Parula, Tufted Titmouse, Summer Tanager, Scarlet Tanager, Black and White Warbler (Yay!), Mourning Dove, Indigo Bunting (female), and Chipping Sparrow. I was happy with the turn out, considering that the birds were probably already soaked through from all the rain. I got a notice from YouTube this week congratulating me on getting 5,000 subscribers! That's a lot of people watching my little bird videos. Thank you to all of you who have been following along for years now, and those of you who have recently started watching. I appreciate all of y'all and it really means a lot to me that so many of you choose to watch each Sunday Morning. Thanks for watching! Stay safe out there and I'll see you next week!
