Making the break at Tour de Murrieta
The plan was simple: be aggressive. Stage race racing at the Tour of Murrieta always delivers, and today was no different. I made the breakaway, committed fully, and turned it into a fight for the win. After a full gas day off the front, I crossed the line 2nd not the top step, but exactly what we needed heading into the final day. Sometimes it’s not about winning the stage… it’s about setting up the overall. The next day we came back focused, executed the plan, and sealed the deal to take the GC victory. 🏆 This is how you race a stage race smart, aggressive, all in.
