Installing Harrop E-Locker's on my 100 Series Landcruiser. ROAM Overlanding
The Build on the 100 series landcruiser continues! After it being in for engine maintenance for months, it was back in my hands and I could finally get it back to the workshop to continue working on it myself. Back at Terrain Tamer HQ we began our next set of maintenance items and upgrades. The Sump needed to be removed, and that meant removing the Steering Rack and Front Diff. A perfect time to install a Harrop E-Locker, supplied by Terrain Tamer, and I mean why only do one when you could do two!? Making this a Triple Locked 100 Series Landcruiser... Perfect! We also decided to do new bushings on the steering rack, a common failure point. While working on the steering rack, new tie rod ends and rack ends would be necessary too! We put in a bunch of days on this vehicle to get it right along with the help from Cape Transmissions who did all the diff rebuild work for. us! We have some exciting stuff coming up, so stay tuned!
