Having failed on an earlier attempt this year for a solo trip into the wilderness, this is the full story, and the last expedition in my green V8 Hero Troopcarrier. The drive runs from Neale Junction, two day's drive from my home, located on the Anne Beadell Highway an extremely remote track.
