The accelerator pedal becomes unresponsive, and the driver can continue using the brake to slow or stop the vehicle until the issue can be addressed. ❗️Temporary Remedy: A long key cycle (allowing modules to fully sleep) can sometimes reset the fault and exit limp mode, but the underlying cause still needs diagnosis and repair.
