【第一話】若桜鉄道完全制覇・春の因幡路男3人鉄道の旅【待ち鉄・歩き鉄】
It's been a while since we've done a railway project. This time, we're going on a "complete tour" of the local Tottori prefecture line "Wakasa Railway" and getting off at every station! This time, we're going to take a thorough tour of all the stations from Wakasa Station to Gunge Station, and enjoy the history and scenery along the line...or so we thought. In the previous series, the usual trip was between the owner, who loves trains, and Maru-chan, who complains but goes along with it, but this time, the owner's son, Harima, has joined us, making it a three-person trip. The owner, who is a casual train enthusiast, is excited to the max...but the problem is that the two people accompanying him are extremely low-spirited. Maru-chan is a total "drinking train fanatic" whose catchphrases are "let me drink" and "I don't want to walk." Next to the owner, whose eyes sparkle at the local station buildings and trains, he continues to complain, "How long are we going to wait?" and "Are we going to walk?" Harima, on the other hand, has zero interest in trains. The owner talks passionately about station signs and old rails, but the owner can only reply with a disinterested "hmm". This mismatched trio's journey on the Wakasa Railway unfolds in a "waiting train" and "walking train" style. Long wait times are inevitable on local lines with few trains. Sometimes they spend their time relaxing at stations, and sometimes they walk to the next station, testing their stamina and perseverance (and getting more booing from their companions). The Wakasa Railway is a third-sector line with roots in the former JNR Wakasa Line. It opened in 1930. Old station buildings and railway remains still remain along the line, and you can enjoy scenery full of historical romance... but the owner is the only one who is excited by the background. Will they be able to complete this journey safely to the end? A strange journey where a train lover and a train idiot don't quite fit together. A relaxed and long, but somehow addictive spring train journey. Please stay with us until the end.
