In the realm of theories of hyper-optimization, the lack of instantaneous progressively overload can be overcome through rep increase, failure can still be achieved. It’s easy to be lazy to not want to do many reps, it is also uncomfortable. The idealistic magic rep range that will give you the best results does not apply here! Improve cardiovascular capacity and work capacity with high rep calisthenics and build muscle, time is not an issue, apply 4 sets with 4 rest pauses each set, reach failure! the rep in itself does not matter, apply low tempo after the rest pauses, it is definitely challenging!
