We’re back with Mom & Daughters Reacts, and this time Tessa (Mama’s Geeky), Lorie, and Ivy are all here for Hoppers — and WOW… this movie completely blew us away. This is easily one of our favorite animated films of the year so far. We went in excited, but we were NOT expecting to fall in love with it like this. Hoppers is gorgeous, funny, emotional, and tells such a powerful story that really sticks with you long after it ends. The animation is absolutely stunning, with vibrant visuals and beautiful world-building that pull you in right away. But what really makes this film special is the heart behind the story. It balances humor and emotion perfectly — making us laugh one minute and tearing up the next. That said… we were also surprised by just how creepy and dark this movie gets at times! There are moments that feel genuinely unsettling, which adds an extra layer to the story and makes the emotional beats hit even harder. It’s not just a fun animated film — it has depth, tension, and some seriously intense moments. And yes… we got VERY emotional watching this one. The characters, their journeys, and the themes of connection, growth, and finding your place hit so hard. We were immediately hooked by the stunning animation and world, loved the mix of humor and darker, creepier moments, and were completely pulled in by the emotional character arcs. The intense and unsettling scenes caught us off guard, while the heartfelt moments — especially toward the end — had all of us tearing up. Hoppers features a fantastic voice cast, bringing these characters to life with so much personality and emotion.
