Fire Alatreon Vs. Ice Hunting Horn - Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - アルバトリオン 狩猟笛 ソロ【MHWI】

One of the most chill hunts I have ever recorded on this channel. I think I've used the word "chill" to describe Hunting Horn runs before, but really it's how it is. This weapon is powerful, so easy to use, so mobile, so interesting. It makes for some of the best hunts. So, I normally never cover a monster in two videos almost back to back like this, especially "boss" monsters such as Alatreon. However, I love this fight so much that I felt like a showcase with Hunting Horn, on top of my Hammer showcase, against Fire Alatreon this time, would interest people. Fire Alatreon is usually regarded as more annoying or difficult than Ice Alatreon, but I find this fight just as enjoyable. I also decided to do this with an Ice Hunting Horn, and tackle the fight as it is designed to be tackled. Hunting Horn can get an Elemental Topple on Alatreon with the Fatalis horn, but it is very, very difficult. I wanted this video to be a chill showcase without a cart, unlike my Hammer one. So obviously this isn't the fastest Alatreon run, but I don't care. I do not know how this compares with other Ice Hunting Horn runs against Alatreon. This is one of the few videos I've made where I barely cared about completion time compared to my previous ones. This is just a cool showcase. I took a nasty hit near the end of the run but overall I think I played well, there might be some better punishes on some of Alatreon's moves but I didn't watch any runs before doing this. But to sum it up, I love Alatreon because it's the closest thing we have in MH to an Alien. The fight itself in IB is perfect, I would actually change nothing about it, not even Escaton.
