Kushala Daora Vs. Hammer and Sword & Shield - MHFU - クシャルダオラ 2人討伐【MHP2G】

Of all the iterations of Kushala Daora, there are two that I really enjoy: Second gen and Rise/Sunbreak. Kushala Daora in second generation is a really fun Elder Dragon with a good moveset and gimmick that I always enjoy fighting. It's mainly 4th Gen Kushala Daora that I always found a bit worse and of course the abomination that was World Kushala. The one and well known weakness of Kushala Daora is however still very well present in this game ; it is very easily to head lock it. Its stagger threshold on the head is overall pretty low, and while you have to stand in front of it to do it, contrary to Teostra, it is actually somewhat rare for Kushala Doara to instant charge you when you're close to it in this game. It will usually jump back to create some distance between you and it, blow wind at you, or do both at the same time. However, at the same time, I understand why Kushala Daora was meant to be staggerable like this via head shots. A lot of people mention Kushala Daora's weakness to poison, but there was always a second way to temporarily remove its wind barrier, which was hitting the head. Its head deliberately sticks out of the barrier, allowing one part of it to be hit without risking being blown away too much. Our objective with my friend in these Elder Dragon runs was to slay them under 10 minutes, and Kushala Daora was by far the fastest run as you can see. Between Hammer that can keep it downed and nearly constant poison uptime, it's a very efficient way of slaying it. It's also possible to flash it, and there is no Flash resistance in the game, but I don't think it's that powerful against it.
