We Got SURROUNDED by POLICE Inside Abandoned Oasis Waterpark… (Swindon)

Exploring the abandoned Oasis Leisure Centre in Swindon… and this one went completely wrong. The Oasis Leisure Centre originally opened in 1976 and was once one of the UK’s most iconic indoor waterparks, known for its dome roof, wave machine and massive slides. It officially closed on 18 November 2020 after operators said it was no longer financially viable following the impact of COVID-19. Since then, it has been left empty, sitting in limbo while plans for redevelopment and refurbishment continue. The aim has been to eventually reopen the site, potentially around its 50th anniversary, but delays and planning issues have kept it abandoned for years. This was my second time visiting the Oasis since it shut down. After getting a tip-off from another explorer about a possible way in through one of the slides, we decided to try our luck… and it actually worked. Me and two others managed to get inside and explore the huge, iconic waterpark hidden beneath the dome. We had around 40 minutes inside, taking in what used to be one of the UK’s most famous leisure centres. But then everything changed. We started hearing strange creaking noises… and within minutes we realised we were completely surrounded. Police units had arrived and even sent a police dog in to search for us. At that point, we had no choice but to give up and comply. What happened next felt intense, with multiple officers outside and pressure being put on us for details — especially considering this is typically treated as a civil trespass situation. This explore definitely didn’t go how we expected. ⚠️ This video is for entertainment and documentary purposes only. Do not attempt to enter abandoned buildings.
