Exploring Fanum House (Abandoned 17-Storey Tower) | Police Turn Up

Fanum House, Basingstoke, a 17-storey abandoned office block and former AA headquarters. We spent over an hour and a half searching the exterior, checking every door and window until we finally found a way inside. Once in, it felt like an escape room, clues left behind, locked sections, and a code we had to figure out to reach the upper floors. After guessing the code, we made it to the top… and the view was unreal. 17 storeys up, overlooking Basingstoke from one of its tallest buildings, soon to be demolished. After around 2.5 hours inside, things took a turn when police arrived. We were searched and asked for our details under Section 50, but they were respectful throughout and eventually let us go. This place was honestly incredible.
