Braunton Strikes Back: 34046 Unleashed at Full Speed with English Riviera Express - 2025

A short trip to the English Riviera. Due to hot and dry weather, 34046 Braunton was restricted on the first two English Riviera Expresses to Kingswear, with most of the load being taken from a diesel directly behind. However, it rained, and Braunton was finally able to strike back. For those onboard, it was a windy day out to the harbours of Kingswear and Dartmouth. Braunton ran early, then late, then early and then super early, resulting in difficult chases and a couple of missed opportunities. That being said, Braunton looked fabulous, and it was great to see the tour without assistance from an LSL diesel.
