Chiben Wakayama High School Baseball Team – A Koshien Regular In this video, we follow the dedicated dorm mother who supports the players through her meals, as well as the young athletes who train relentlessly every day. Every morning begins early in the dormitory kitchen. Every meal is carefully prepared by hand, with close attention to nutrition and portion sizes to help build the players' bodies. Breakfast, snacks, lunch boxes, dinner, and a late-night meal—five meals a day are prepared by dorm mother Chihoko Nakatani and her staff. "Your body is made from what you eat." Keeping those words close to heart, they use the best ingredients possible and prepare every meal with care and dedication. Chihoko is also the wife of Head Coach Nakatani. She is a mother of two, the dorm mother, and also runs a yoga studio while working as a yoga instructor. Things don't always go according to plan, but her unwavering dedication to the players left a lasting impression on us. Behind every player chasing a dream are the people who cook for them and quietly support them every day. The daily lives of these young athletes striving for Koshien are made possible through the dedication of many people.
