La EVOLUCIÓN De Los PLANES De EXTENSIÓN Del SUBTE De BUENOS AIRES

From the beginning, the subway was a matter of national pride. It was the first in Latin America and the entire southern hemisphere. Of course, it was also owned by three private companies: the CTAA, the Lacroze Brothers Company, and the CHADOPyF (National Commission of Transport and Transportation). In 1940, the Buenos Aires subway became partly owned by the National State. The Buenos Aires Transport Company, which controlled the network, proposed an initial plan for the network in 1953, called the Subway Commission Plan. In 1957, an updated version, called the Condor Plan, was made public, depicting the subway of the future. The following plans would come in 1973, 1981, and 1991, each one less ambitious than the previous one. In 2000, Law 670 would appear. The only one with the force of law, and just as ignored as the previous plans. Finally, the 2015 PETERS plan offers interesting alternatives for lines F and G, in addition to proposing a new route for line E. What's your favorite plan?
