A wild loop at the foot of Sasso Bianco, among isolated trails, increasingly darkening skies, and that constant feeling of being in the right place... at the wrong time ⚡🏔️ On this journey, we pass through incredible places in the Agordino Dolomites: the village of Bramezza with its famous, rounded "Turkish Chimneys." According to tradition, Turkish prisoners were housed here centuries ago, leaving a mark that is still unique in the Dolomites. The route also runs alongside the gigantic Monte Piz landslide, still clearly visible today: a devastating event that created Lake Alleghe in 1771. Then the sky changes. The clouds grow darker, the anxiety of an unexpected shower grows, and the ride slowly turns into an escape from the rain through ancient huts, remote woods, and increasingly rock 'n' roll trails 🤘 Among the most captivating moments of the day was a splendid viewpoint suspended over the valley: a brief respite of calm that gave me a contemplative and regenerating break... the sandwich in my backpack had been waiting for that moment for a long time. The passage to Ciamp adds an even more authentic atmosphere: traditional wooden huts, meticulously tended meadows, and a place jealously guarded by the locals, where time seems to have stood still.
