It's still hot, so I decided to walk along a path with flowing water. This time, I'm climbing the cool Tsutsujio Valley Route on Mt. Kongo. I've climbed the Tsutsujio Valley Route before, but I've forgotten what it was like. I started the climb with a fresh feeling, thinking, "Was it really this rough?" The Tsutsujio Valley Route is popular in winter because of the frozen waterfalls that form there. However, it is also a dangerous route, with fatal accidents such as falls occurring. It is not recommended as a hiking trail, so please be careful when climbing. We also made a wrong turn and had to correct our mistakes along the way. That said, the path with flowing water is very cool and pleasant. The breeze blowing through the valley is crisp. The hiking trail is beautiful, and there are few spider webs. I think the willingness to walk the difficult valley route is part of Mt. Kongo's charm. When we reach the summit, we can hear the usual lively voices. It's quieter now than when the ropeway was running, but it still has a fun atmosphere. On the way down, I took the Chihaya Main Trail for the first time in a while. The climb was steep, but the descent was relaxing. It was a very satisfying day ( ´ ▽ ` ) The main reason I spent the day was meeting Mr. Tsunoda, who runs the YouTube channel "Wandering Mountains and Waterside Strolls," which introduces various routes in the Kongo Mountains.
