The building known as Casa Xicoténcatl, now called Casa Nuestra and officially the former seat of the Senate of the Republic, has a history spanning more than three centuries and reflecting different stages of Mexico's religious, hospital, political, and cultural life. You'll find it at number 9 Xicoténcatl Street, next to the National Museum of Art. This building has had many lives over the past three centuries: it has served as a seminary, a Jesuit residence, a hospital, the Senate building, and currently functions as a cultural space.
