Hastings Unit DEMU No. 1013 visit the Bluebell Railway 17/05/2025

On Saturday 17th May, the Hastings 'Thumper' Unit DEMU No. 1013 visit the Bluebell Railway on The Blue Belle Tour. The tour starts it journey from Hastings to London Victoria via Tunbridge Wells & Redhill. And starts it journey to East Grinstead where it will run on the Bluebell Railway metals. The Hastings Unit is seen first running through Redhill on route to London Victoria later seen at Horsted Keynes to complete the journey to Sheffield Park. And at mid-afternoon, the Hastings Unit is seen leaving Horsted Keynes on route to the main line metals on it return journey to Hastings. The Bluebell home fleet in action during the day was London, Brighton & South Coast Railway Class H2 'Atlantic' No. 32424 "Beachy Head" and British Railways Standard Class 5MT No. 73082 "Camelot" hauled the line two train timetable C service, while South Eastern Railway Class O1 No. 65 hauled the Wealden Rambler.
