Its 133 kilometer length condenses the pristine beauty of canyons, snow-capped mountains, and meadows. The route starts from Baoxing County and passes through Longdong Town, Zhonggang Village, Xuechao Pass, Jihong Tibetan Courtyard, Mukeke Ridge, Yuandongzi, and Meiwo Township before finally reaching Xiaojin County. From Jihong Tibetan Courtyard (Lianghekou Village) to the fork, it is all unpaved pastoral roads. About one kilometer downhill from the fork, the road turns into a paved one. For the first half of Baojin Line, it starts from Baoxing County, goes through Longdong Town and Zhonggang Village, and arrives at Xuechao Pass. Initially, most of the road is paved, and vehicles can travel smoothly. After passing Zhonggang Village, there are more and more unpaved pastoral roads, and the road conditions deteriorate, with gravel everywhere, which is a test for the vehicle's suspension and tires. It is recommended to drive a four - wheel - drive SUV. From Zhonggang Village to Hanniu Township and Meiwo Township, there is no signal for dozens of kilometers, so it is necessary to set the route in advance. Baojin Line not only offers splendid scenery, with vast grasslands, flower fields, cattle and sheep, streams, steep peaks, and strange rocks along the way, but also screens real adventurers with its bumpy gravel and oxygen - deficient passes.
