Growing up in a non-crafty household, she didn’t start knitting until she was 27 but within a year she was spinning hundreds of yards of yarn every day. Ten years, 96 workshops, numerous articles, and one book later, she started PLY Magazine. Ten years after that she found another true love – weaving. Now she runs PLY and WEFT magazine, the PLY Spinners Guild, and is working on her third book. She lives with her family in Bend, OR where she knits, spins, weaves, and rock climbs.
