Textiles & Tea Episode 281 Marilyn Romatka

Textiles & Tea with Marilyn Romatka The Handweavers Guild of America, Inc.'s (HGA) takes place every Tuesday at 4 PM (ET). We've invited some of the most respected fiber artists in the field today to join us for an hour-long conversation in which we discuss their artwork and creative journeys. Make a cup of your favorite tea and join us as we talk about fiber, creativity, inspiration, process, and so much more. Marilyn Romatka has a passion for Folk Art. She has been teaching living ethnic crafts to both children and adults throughout the nation for many years. She has a drive to see that traditional skills are passed on to the next generation. Her background in science makes her teaching style organized and clear; her passion gives the class zing. Students in her classes laugh and learn in a relaxed atmosphere. She is the author of the book Creative Crafts of the World, a book of lesson plans to teach groups of kids – from scouts to homeschoolers to grandkids! This episode originally aired on June 16, 2026.
