👉 Nie słuchasz VHF 16? To bardzo zły pomysł

A comment appeared on one of the sailing channels suggesting that VHF radios can be turned off during short passages because listening on channel 16 is "distracting." In this video, I address this argument and explain: • why turning off a radio at sea is bad practice, • what the difference is between a radio turned off and a radio turned down, • why DSC on channel 70 works even with the radio turned down, • where in the regulations the requirement to listen on channel 16 is found, • and why maritime safety is a common concern for all vessels. I also address the argument that the obligation to listen applies only to convention ships covered by the SOLAS Convention. In the video, I also present the legal basis and sources: • ITU Radio Regulations • SOLAS Convention • Maritime Code At sea, VHF radio is not just a communication tool – it is a component of the safety system. 🎥 Excerpts used in the material are from the program: "🎙️ Good Maritime Practice – Common Sense That Isn't Found in Laws" Channel: @rozmowyzmesy Original material:    • 🎙️ Dobra praktyka morska – rozsądek, które...   Excerpts were used for commentary and substantive analysis of statements regarding maritime safety.
