Использование Tower для написания расширяемых HTTP клиентов. Алексей Сидоров
Using Tower to Write Extensible HTTP Clients Alexey Sidorov Lead Developer, T-Bank At T-Bank, microservices have strict requirements for fault tolerance and observability. Simply using Reqwest and starting communication between services quickly creates headaches: "What if one of the services crashes?" "How do I add retry?" "What if retry kills it completely?" "Where are the logs, where are the metrics, where's the tracing?" "Damn, we still need to forward some headers." "Oh, we forgot about authorization." After several such iterations, it became clear that Tower is the best solution for all these problems. In this talk, I'll discuss its design and how to use it to add any bells and whistles to Reqwest, such as retry, rate limiting, distributed tracing, circuit breaker, header propagation, etc. And the main thing is how to make it all reusable.
