Raiding Uzhhorod Castle — Successfully This Time!

Again we besiege southwestern Ukraine's castle district! This time we actually breach the walls of *Uzhhorod castle*, after being repelled thrice in our earlier visit. "Jason Takes Manhattan"? We welcome ideas in the Comments section. Anyway, in this episode we return to Uzhhorod after a month and a half away. Summer has most definitely departed. The leaves have taken on their autumnal hue and the wind blows them over the pathways of the Uzhhorod castle grounds, where they crunch beneath our feet. An interesting time to visit. The castle has a melancholy air to it. Seems to groan and sigh beneath its weight of History... Not only do we see the castle, we swing by another Uzhhorod must-see that we missed last time round: the *Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture*. As the advertising says, "Step back in time for a glimpse of traditional Carpathian lifestyle."
