I Found Germany's Most Underrated Festival 🇩🇪

◼︎In this video, I travel to Kiel, Germany for the very first time to experience Kieler Woche (Kiel Week), the largest sailing and maritime festival in the world and one of the biggest festivals in all of Northern Europe. Every year, around 3 million visitors come to the city of Kiel to witness an incredible celebration of sailing, culture, music, food, and international friendship. Ships of all kinds—from traditional tall ships and historic vessels to modern sailing boats—arrive from around the world and fill the harbor, creating a truly unique atmosphere. While I came to see the famous ships, I quickly realized that Kieler Woche is much more than a boat festival. Throughout the city, there are live music stages, food markets, cultural events, street performances, and endless opportunities to meet people from different countries. I spent the day exploring the waterfront, trying local food and drinks, enjoying the festival atmosphere, and making new friends along the way. This was my first time visiting Kiel, and I was honestly surprised by how lively and international the city became during the festival.
