Me and my friend took the long way across Laos. From the laid-back capital of Vientiane to the ancient charm of Luang Prabang, this trip was full of surprises. Along the way, we reached jungle waterfalls, visited an elephant sanctuary, and explored some of the most peaceful and untouched places we've seen in Southeast Asia. But what really made this journey unforgettable was the way we traveled. We traveled through the heart of Laos in the most unexpected way (you’ll see), and ended up in a bizarre border town that used to be a Chinese-run gambling zone.
